“ I visited Mama Coco on a quiet Thursday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was nearly empty, which gave us a peaceful dining experience, but I could see how this place could really shine during busier times. The service was exceptional; the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. We started with the tortilla soup, and it was absolutely delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices. It was clear that the ingredients were fresh, and it set a high bar for the rest of the meal. Next, we tried the shrimp ceviche, which was another highlight. The portion was generous, with an abundance of shrimp in every bite. It was fresh, tangy, and vibrant--definitely a must-try if you love seafood. For the main course, we had the steak and shrimp burrito, and it did not disappoint. The combination of tender steak and succulent shrimp was flavorful and well-seasoned. Wrapped in a soft tortilla, it made for a filling and satisfying meal. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of food, the service, and the great value for money. Mama Coco definitely offers a wonderful dining experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu! ”
“ Met up family here for lunch and it was perfect because my 2 kids were entertained the whole time by the play kitchen they had and also baby toys! Very cool that they have the space to do this in the back patio. The food was good and the service was good. The only odd thing was the michelada came in a glass that wasn't big enough for the whole beer so the mixture isn't right when you add more beer to it after? Not a big thing. Just grateful for a space that's great for toddlers! It's also close to Saint franks coffee and the Caltrain station. Everything was walkable! ”
“ We sat on the back patio. It was lovely. The guacamole was nothing to write home about but the Camarones Al Chipotle were AMAZING. One of my friends had the Camerones Al Mojo de Ajo she loved the dish. Another friend had the beef Sopitos and said they were delish. I'll definitely be back for the Camerones Al Chipotle! ”
“ We had tons of out of town guests coming for a big birthday weekend. We decided to take them all out to the Guild the night before the big bash and have a group dinner here so we could walk to the show. Monica was so kind and easy to work with. Everyone loved the food and we had the best time in the back patio. ”
